Communication and Community Lead

As the Communications and Community Lead you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing communication strategies that enhance our brand’s presence and actively engage with our community. This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in content creation, community management, social media, public relations, and event planning. We are seeking a creative, results-driven individual with strong prioritization skills and a passion for thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement: Build and nurture an engaged community, foster relationships, gather feedback, and use insights to drive business decisions and improve offerings.
Content Creation & Management: Curate and develop engaging content (posts, discussions, newsletters) to spark conversations, promote offerings, and strengthen community ties.
Social Media Management: Manage and grow social media presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Monitor trends, engage with followers, and ensure community engagement.
Public Relations: Build strong media relationships, pitch stories, coordinate interviews, and manage press coverage to enhance brand visibility.
Event Planning: Plan and execute online/offline community events that foster engagement and deepen brand relationships.
Copywriting: Write clear, concise, and compelling content for internal communications, marketing materials, and social media while maintaining brand alignment.
Brand Advocacy: Identify and collaborate with influencers and ambassadors to amplify the brand message and extend reach.
Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics, analyze data, and refine strategies to optimize content and continuously improve communication efforts.
Documentation & Visual Content Creation: Collaborate with photographers/videographers to create high-quality visual content that supports brand storytelling.
Internal Communications: Facilitate communication within teams, ensuring stakeholders are updated on key initiatives, milestones, and developments.
Crisis Management: Manage communication during crises, responding quickly to protect the brand’s reputation.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community management, communications, or a related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and excel under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for building communities and connecting with people.
- Hands-on experience developing and executing strategies, creating content, and engaging with a diverse community.
