Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Warehouse Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about optimizing warehouse operations. The successful candidate will assist the Warehouse Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a secure and effective warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Support:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and efficient flow of goods.
• Support the implementation and adherence to warehouse operating procedures.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure full operational capacity at all times.

Security and Compliance:

• Monitor and enforce security protocols as outlined in the Warehouse Security Manual.
• Review documents and inventory reports to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Prepare for annual external audits by coordinating compliance evaluations.

Client Relationship Management:

• Collaborate with clients to familiarize them with warehouse procedures, ensuring smooth pickups and deliveries.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with client representatives.

Team Development:

• Assist in conducting performance reviews and personal development planning for team members.
• Identify staff training needs to ensure continuous development and improvement.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels between warehouse and units through regular physical counts.

Technological Advancements:

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on initiatives to implement advanced Warehouse Management Software.
• Work with IT specialists to develop a mobile device application for client interactions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft D365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) – must be       able to navigate modules like inventory, procurement, warehouse management, and Transportation modules. Resolve D365 system issues (e.g., inventory discrepancies, integration errors).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in WMS/ERP reporting, cycle counts, and root-cause analysis.
• Proven ability to thrive in high-stress environments (e.g., 3PL, distribution centers, or manufacturing with >AED 50M inventory)
• Thrives under pressure, meets tight deadlines, and adapts to rapid changes, ready to work any time, any day, 24/7.
• Enforce OSHA standards and ensure Safety audit readiness.
• Ability to solve problems efficiently and handle unexpected situations calmly.
