This new opportunity is perfect for a service-oriented, adaptable, and professional individual seeking to play an important role in our office environment, combining front-of-house duties with the preparation and service of high-quality beverages. As an Office Attendant / Barista, you will help create a welcoming, clean, and efficient workspace for all employees and visitors. You will deliver outstanding customer service, ensure the office is organised and presentable, and support the success and culture of our team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities – Office Maintenance & Customer Service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness throughout office common areas, meeting rooms, kitchenettes, and barista station.
- Greet all staff and visitors warmly, providing information and assistance as required to ensure a positive office experience.
- Support the smooth running of meetings and events by setting up rooms, replenishing supplies, and responding promptly to requests.
- Monitor and restock office consumables (e.g. tea, coffee, milk, snacks, stationery), reporting low stock in a timely manner.
- Assist with incoming deliveries, post distribution, and other ad-hoc office support tasks as needed.
Specialised Barista Skills – Beverage Service & Presentation
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, teas, and other refreshments to high standards for staff and guests.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other related equipment according to manufacturer and health & safety guidelines.
- Ensure the barista station is always clean, organised, and appropriately stocked, adhering to food and beverage hygiene protocols.
- Offer recommendations and accommodate special requests for beverages, providing a friendly and personalised service.
- Proactively contribute ideas to enhance the office café experience, including introducing new drinks or sustainable practices.
Health, Safety & Hygiene Compliance in Office and Hospitality Settings
- Comply with all company policies relating to health, safety, sanitation, and food hygiene at all times.
- Conduct daily checks of office and kitchen facilities, reporting hazards, maintenance issues, or incidents without delay.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning products and food items.
- Participate in regular training and briefings to maintain up-to-date knowledge of office health & safety best practices.
