About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Manager to lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental efforts across all company operations. This role is key to driving a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement ensuring that our practices not only meet but exceed statutory requirements and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
As the HSE Manager, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our OHS and Environmental management systems. You will act as both a strategic leader and technical expert, working across departments to embed a culture of "Safety, Quality, and Environment First.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide HSE policies and procedures in alignment with legal and industry standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Lead audits, inspections, and risk assessments; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage incident and accident investigations; develop preventive strategies based on root cause analysis.
- Establish Emergency Management Plans for all properties and ensure implementation.
- Lead and mentor the HSE team, providing technical support, coaching, and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure safety is integrated across all operations.
- Define performance metrics, analyze results, and present recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and manage the annual HSE operating budget.
- Maintain thorough records, documentation, and reporting in line with compliance requirements.
- Promote strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support company-wide HSE goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HSE management experience, preferably in a multi-site or high-standard environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Proven experience in leading audits, investigations, and compliance improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Prior HSE experience in hospitality or VVIP client services is a distinct advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
