Key Responsibilities – Housekeeping Supervisor
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of Housekeepers to ensure immaculate cleaning and presentation across all areas of the residence, including guest suites, public rooms, and service spaces.
- Establish and maintain housekeeping standards, ensuring all routines, checklists, and protocols are followed and adapted to the unique requirements of the principal and guests.
- Conduct daily inspections and quality checks, promptly addressing deficiencies and upholding the property’s reputation for pristine care.
- Oversee stock management for cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, anticipating needs and coordinating replenishment orders with the household management team,
- Train and mentor housekeeping team members, providing guidance in luxury service etiquette, technical cleaning procedures, and handling of fine finishes and valuable items.
- Implement and supervise protocols for laundry and wardrobe management, including care of bespoke garments and delicate fabrics.
Skills & Experience Required – Housekeeping Supervisor Careers in Luxury Hospitality
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private UHNW residences, 5-star hotels, or high-end hospitality environments, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Meticulous attention to detail with proven ability to deliver and maintain ultra-high housekeeping standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning methodologies, luxury surface and fabric care, and the proper use of eco-friendly or specialist products.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and staff scheduling skills, with experience managing multicultural teams.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to exercise sound judgement in all aspects of household care.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal abilities, including written English and the ability to give and receive instructions clearly.
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet household requirements.
