YOSH Hospitality is seeking a qualified, analytical, and solutions-driven professional to join our Facilities and Warehouse team as an IT Technician. Main Responsibilities – IT Technician Jobs in Warehouse & Facility Operations
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including computers, printers, network devices, and mobile devices across the warehouse and office facilities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and the prompt resolution of issues affecting warehouse systems and staff operations.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of operating systems, business applications, and security software to protect systems from vulnerabilities.
- Respond to user support requests, logging incidents, diagnosing problems, and providing clear technical guidance to colleagues on IT best practices.
- Set up new user accounts, manage system permissions, and ensure secure access in accordance with internal IT and data protection policies.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, assist with procurement of equipment, and support the onboarding of new staff by setting up relevant technology and access rights.
- Provide general technical support for meetings, trainings, and events, ensuring all AV and digital systems function seamlessly.
- Collaborate with external technology vendors and service providers where required for maintenance or project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and security policies across all IT systems and telecommunications infrastructures.
Essential Skills & Experience – IT Support and Warehouse Technology Maintenance
- Proven experience in a technical support or IT technician role, ideally within a warehouse, logistics, hospitality, or commercial facility setting.
- Solid knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, device imaging, and network management (switches, routers, wireless networks, VPNs).
- Experience installing and maintaining Windows, MS Office, and basic business applications; familiarity with Office 365 administration is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
- Commitment to upholding data security protocols and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Physically able to move and install IT equipment across warehouse and office spaces as required.
- Relevant IT certifications or diplomas desirable (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco); willingness to undertake additional training where necessary.
