Administrative Assistant - Warehouse

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to provide comprehensive administrative support within our busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities –
- Manage all administrative processes and office activities for the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Handle accurate data entry, inventory documentation, and maintenance of filing systems for receipts, dispatches, transfers, and returns of goods.
- Provide support to management and warehouse teams in daily operational requirements and communications.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, stock counts, and compliance documentation as required by company procedures and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all warehouse transactions in inventory and warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate between logistics, supply chain, and other departments to ensure smooth movement of materials and information across the property.
- Support compliance with all health, safety, and data protection policies in every aspect of warehouse administration.
- Respond to administrative queries, resolve discrepancies, and propose process improvements for increased efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience –
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role within a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and warehouse management systems (WMS); comfortable with digital record keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams across the operation.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in all aspects of data handling and documentation.
- Problem-solving ability, initiative, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential operational or personnel information.
- Flexible and reliable, capable of supporting the team during peak times or shift rotations when needed.
