About the role
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our household team. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene across the residence, support laundry and wardrobe care, and deliver discreet, professional service to household members and guests.
Key responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing and bed making to maintain all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and public rooms to exceptional standards.
Undertake laundry, ironing and wardrobe care, including delicate and high‑value textiles, following care labels and household procedures.
Change bed linens and replenish toiletries, consumables and minibar items as required.
Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the Property Manager or maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs.
Follow deep‑cleaning schedules and complete seasonal or ad‑hoc cleaning projects as directed.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring correct storage and safe use of chemicals in line with health & safety guidance.
Provide discreet and courteous service to household members and guests, respecting privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Assist with set‑up and tidying for events, small gatherings and family functions as required.
Keep accurate records of laundry, cleaning inventories and tasks completed when required by management.
Qualification & experience
Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in private residences, luxury hospitality or similar environments.
Experience with laundry and wardrobe care for a range of fabrics and garment types.
Knowledge of cleaning methods, products and safe handling of chemicals; training in COSHH or equivalent is desirable.
Excellent attention to detail with a pride in delivering high presentation standards.
Good time management and the ability to follow instructions and work without constant supervision.
Basic numeracy and literacy; ability to complete simple records and follow written procedures.

Friendly and approachable with good interpersonal skills and respect for household confidentiality.
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including standing, bending and lifting light to moderate loads.
Flexible and reliable, willing to provide occasional out‑of‑hours cover when required.
High standards of personal presentation and punctuality.
