Job Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant will contribute to maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments across office and guest areas. The role is responsible for routine cleaning, supporting setup for events and meetings, managing housekeeping supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. The post requires adherence to health and safety standards and delivery of consistent service in line with UAE Expo Office expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins in offices, meeting rooms and guest areas.
Clean and maintain washrooms to high hygiene standards; replenish toiletries and consumables as required.
Support event and meeting preparations by arranging furniture, setting up refreshment areas and ensuring spaces are tidy before and after use.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor; store materials securely and safely.
Identify and report maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, leaks or damaged furniture to facilities team in a timely manner.
Follow health, safety and infection-control procedures, including appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
Provide courteous and professional interaction with colleagues, visitors and contractors at all times.
