Accountability Areas:
Design and implement structured training programs tailored to each dog’s breed, temperament, and behavioral needs.
Address and modify behavioral issues such as aggression, anxiety, and disobedience using humane, evidence-based positive reinforcement techniques.
Monitor and evaluate each dog’s progress, maintaining accurate training records and adjusting programs as needed.
Ensure dogs receive appropriate physical exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization as part of their training regimen.
Observe overall health and behavior, promptly reporting concerns and supporting veterinary care when required.
Coordinate and support feeding routines, including managing specialized dietary requirements where applicable.
Oversee basic grooming practices (bathing, brushing, nail trimming) to ensure dogs are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment across kennels and training areas.
Ensure optimal environmental conditions, including temperature control, ventilation, and safety standards.
Monitor training equipment and supplies, reporting replenishment needs in a timely manner.
Provide regular updates to supervisors or dog owners regarding training progress, behavior, and overall wellbeing.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager
Requirements:
Dog training certification / qualifications
Veterinary knowledge or qualifications (preferred)
Experience in private hospitality / working with private families
Experience in behavioral training
