We are seeking a proactive and innovative Learning & Development Specialist
Job Purpose
L&D Specialist provides technical, digital and operational expertise to support the effective delivery of the organization's Talent Development strategy. The role is responsible for learning design, digital learning technologies, learning administration and systems management.
Working closely with the Talent Development Manager, Operational L&D Specialists, HR, IT and business stakeholders, the role ensures learning programs, digital platforms, records and processes are well coordinated, efficiently administered and continuously enhanced to support workforce capability, compliance and an exceptional learner experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learning Design & Digital Learning
Design, develop and continuously improve engaging learning solutions using adult learning principles.
Convert classroom and technical training into digital learning solutions that support knowledge transfer and learner engagement.
2. Learning Systems & Technology
Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies.
Manage digital learning content, course updates, version control and learning platform administration.
Support learning technology projects, system enhancements, testing and user adoption.
3. Learning Administration & Coordination
Oversee the administration and coordination of learning activities to ensure programs are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Supervise learning records, enrolments, attendance, certifications, training documentation and digital learning resources.
Provide guidance and support to L&D Coordinators and administrators to ensure consistent learning administration practices.
Monitor learning schedules, workflows and operational processes to improve efficiency and learner experience.
4. Reporting & Learning Analytics
Maintain accurate learning data across all learning platforms.
Produce dashboards and reports that measure participation, compliance, learner engagement and programs effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes through automation and improved learning technologies.
5. Stakeholder Support & Business Partnership
Partner with HR, IT, department leaders and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into practical learning solutions and digital system improvements.
Promote adoption of digital learning platforms through communication, guidance and user support.
